I worked for Don Revie at the Football Association after he had left Leeds. He thought the world of his players, particularly big Jack. How lucky we all were to see Jack play. I will remember it forever. He is now with his friend, the "little Lad". Rest in peace

Rest in Peace Big Jack. Growing up as an Irish football fan Jack was a hero to us all taking Irish football and people to unprecedented heights. His legacy will never be forgotten and I believe many modern day managers study his tactics as he knew better than any how to get results. A totally unasuming Man, he never gave the impression he had a World Cup medal in his back pocket. His love for fishing, a pint of Guinness and the Ordinary Irish people made him more Irish than a lot of us. Condolences to all the Charlton Family..... The likes of this great Man will never be seen again.
