There have been so many programmes on lately about Scotland, Irene, the latest about Scotland’s coasts. Our good friends Jude and Andrew are staying near Arbroath this week. You loved Scotland and you really liked Smokies. You loved the scenery and you really liked Edinburgh. We stayed in so many different places. Xxxx

Dear Irene, there is a programme with Jane McDonald on tv now. She is in the Caribbean. We really liked our times in the Caribbean. Excellent scenery friendly people .... amazing experiences. She was watching an ice carver... you always enjoyed the ice carving. Xxxx

Just watching a Rick Stein Programme ... where he is travelling across Morocco. X we had some great times there over a few decades. Even though we were put under pressure to buy certain products we really liked Casablanca and Rabat. We had a good time with our friends from Manchester. Xxxx

Just watching Chris Tarrant’s Extreme Railways Programme — and he is in Estonia. We really enjoyed Tallinn. The medieval area was quite distinct. We enjoyed shopping there and had some lovely meals. Xxx

Dear Irene I remember your stories about Norman Wisdom! This was when you lived on Nuns Moor Road. He had a friend who lived a few doors up the road from you. When he came to stay he would ask about Richard. You and Richard went for tea one evening and Norman acted the fool for Richard. He always made him laugh. Xxxx

We were always so lucky with the neighbours we had at 68 Kenton, Irene.x To have so many nice people as neighbours over a 25 year period is quite amazing. We were definitely blessed. Xxxx
