The man the legend that is John Humphries. Charlie, have a big beaming smile when you think of your Dad. He was genuinely quite a guy and a bloody good Detective. Sadly missed but never forgotten XX

A word which many will use when describing Humph, ‘legend’.
I never in all my police service met anyone quite like John. He taught me so much, some of it I just can’t repeat here!!! I just liked working with him, a proper character and a genuinely nice fella.

Humph was an absolute legend!

Never a dull moment when he was around!

Shared many a laugh with him!

Love him Always!

I was gonna sign off using my nickname that those in the old school circle know me by but when I tried it said it was a banned word.... hahaha.... John got the last laugh as ever...
