Sylvia MarjorieCARRSadly passed away on 6 July 2025, aged 88 years. Dearly loved and missed by all her family.

Cremation service to take place at Thornhill Crematorium, Wenallt Chapel on Wednesday 6th August at 1:30pm.

Family flowers only by request. Donations if desired can be made to BBC Children In Need at www.greenwillowfunerals.com

Oh Sylvia - what a lovely woman. I spent a lot of my teenage years at her house - I remember not going home for two weeks at one point! We joked that she was my second mother. She was generous and compassionate, with a naughty sense of humour. RIP lovely lady. Catrin Xxx

Still cant believe she is gone. She was the best mother in law i could have wished for! She always made me feel so welcome and at home and she was the best grandma to our children!! We will miss her so so much!! Thank you mum.. for being the lovely lady that you were.. you will be forever in my heart!

I was one of her carers and she was such a lovely and kind person. She was one of my favourite. She loved to tease me and make funny faces just to make me smile 😊 She will be greatly missed ❤️
