Despite knowing Ken for a short time, he was instantly intrigued into my own life and knowledge he could learn from the world of tech he found so fascinating. He shared many stories including one of his (in my opinion at least) best impulse buys and his admittedly rose tinted memories of his Land Rover. Something Dee and Lyn were less fond of but none the less he would dig around for photos of it because he’d knew, I’d love to see it.

My favourite memory of him though will be at Christmas when he was entrusted to wrap the presents. As I unwrapped the lovely fleece they’d both got me I found a roll of tape, still partly stuck and wrapped with in it. Upon seeing this he pointed at it and exclaimed “Oh Dee look, that’s where the tape went!”

Our lives with never be the same without you here. Your stories, your music and your jokes will be missed by all.
Thank you for being a big inspiration in my life, I wouldn’t be who I am without you.
I will do my best to do you proud everyday.
I love you more than the number of stars in the sky.

Remembering Ken with huge love and affection... a wonderful and caring father-in-law who welcomed me warmly into the family from the first day we met. His good cheer, humour, genuineness, and trusting nature were deeply touching and so very much appreciated. Sarah. Xx
