BettyDAY5/3/1935 - 16/10/2025
Betty sadly passed away on 16th October 2025. She will be greatly missed by Dennis, David, Libby, her son and daughter and her grandchildren. She has lived in Ware for the past 60 years and was born and educated in St. Albans. Betty was an accomplished polo pony trainer, becoming head coach at Woolmer's Park for several years, before she took on the important role of raising her two children. Betty loved animals of every size and shape and was well known as an expert dog obedience trainer at the Hertford and District Dog Training Society. For many years Betty was a much loved 'Auntie' at the nursery located at All Nations Christian College. In later years she greatly enjoyed the company and creativity available at the Art Clubs held at Age Concern Hall, Ware and at Watton at Stone.
She was known to all for being generous with her time, to offer help and kindness to all, especially her grandchildren, for whom she had great affection.
The funeral service will take place on Monday 17th November 2025 at 11am at St. Mary's Church, Ware. All are invited to a reception afterwards at the Feathers Inn, Wadesmill.
