To see so many people at David's funeral was a great comfort to us all, the generous donations for the Oncology Unit, Ward 7 HRI are greatly appreciated. Special thanks to aunty Judith, aunty Jean and uncle Peter who have been with us all the way, the wonderful Meltham district nursing team who went above and beyond the call of duty, to young student nurse Meg who always brought a smile to David's face, and the Marie Curie nurses who took over some nights to allow Pat the rest that was so needed. To Dr Ashraf who has been such a special, kind and caring Doctor and who David and Pat had so much trust in, and the very special team on the Oncology Unit, Ward 7, HRI, a team who care for so many people in the Huddersfield area. A very special thank you to Rev Maureen Read for her compassionate and uplifting service that was greatly appreciated by all the family. Thanks also to Andrew at Radcliffe Funeral Service for his caring and professional funeral arrangements and to Hayley and Ashley at Meltham Golf Club for their help and kindness. Last but not least to Brian Ingham, an ex-colleague of David's who took everything off our shoulders, all the distress that we had experienced was lifted when Brian just did what needed doing. Thank you so much, we will never forget.
