Charles (Chas)BANKSIN LOVING MEMORY OF CHAS BANKS MBE WHO DIED 30/10/2024

A year ago today I lost you, the love of my life, my true soulmate of 39 years. Life will never be the same without you.

You were a loving family man and such a huge character, a selfless, kind, loving and humble man who once met was never forgotten. You would do anything for anyone and hold court like a king, entertaining everyone with your tales from the past.

My proudest moment was accompanying you to receive your well-deserved MBE at Windsor Castle, what a day that was - Prince William hardly got a word in!

Love and miss you so much. Until we meet again.

Your loving heart-broken wife Shirley xxx

I can’t believe it’s been a year since you left us. Greatly missed but forever in my heart, you were never “just” my uncle but an anchor to my whole life. Generous of spirit and always free with your time, your determination, passion and drive in everything you did remain with me and are an inspiration. Thank you for a life well led. .

It’s been a year since my uncle passed away, and though I didn’t see him very often, his presence still left a deep and lasting impression on me. He was a kind, thoughtful, and caring man, someone who led by example and made a difference in the lives of those around him.

Even from afar, it was easy to see the kind of person he was. He cared deeply about others and worked hard to create positive change.

What I remember most is his genuine warmth and the way he made people feel valued. His kindness seemed effortless, but it carried real strength.

Though I wish I had more time with him, I’m grateful for the moments we shared and for the example he set.

I was Charlie’s dentist for many years and he became a great friend .

The energy and effort he and Shirley put into the hugely successful MUDSA dinners was astounding and it was a measure of the man who put his own problems aside to help others .

He was always great company and an inspiration to us all

We miss you Chas
