Chris And PeteDODDPeacefully at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Blurton on March 25th 2025 after a short illness, Christine Lesley aged 81 years of Longsdon and on April 7th 2025 her beloved husband Peter James aged 86 years died at home, the much loved mum and dad of Penny and Tom, dearest mum-in-law and father-in-law, treasured nana and grandad, great-nana and great-grandad and a dearest sister, brother, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, aunt and uncle.

Funeral Thursday May 1st, Service and Cremation at Carmountside Crematorium at 3pm. Will friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the Crematorium.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to The Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Blurton.

We have special memories of Chris and Pete through their volunteering with the Chernobyl Children’s Project charity. A very lovely, kind, hospitable and generous couple with big hearts to help others. Our sincere condolences to all the family.

We were in Granada, Spain when we received this sad news and were comforted by the memories of the tales our father used to tell of us Pete and his many visits to Spain together. We'll be thinking of you tomorrow. Our deepest condolences from David, Sandrine, Anna and Thomas.
