ThomasPITCAIRNThe family of Thomas Plenderleith Pitcairn are saddened to announce his passing from cancer. Tom died peacefully at Castle Douglas Hospital on 8th July 2025. Tom, of Martindale, Ringford, Castle Douglas, beloved husband of Issy, much loved father of Ross and Emma, adored grandfather of Rosie, and friend, mentor and role model to many, will be greatly missed.

The funeral will take place at Roucan Loch Crematorium, Dumfries, on Thursday 24th July at 12 noon. Bright colours requested.

Family flowers only please. Donations may be given to Castle Douglas Hospital, in grateful memory of the wonderful care provided to Tom in his final weeks. If you would like to donate online, please find the relevant GoFundMe page, gofund.me/14eb359c.
