RaymondBONEPassed away peacefully at Broomfield Hospital on 11th August 2026, aged 85 years.

Much loved Dad to Michelle and Ali, adored Grandad to Laura, Elia, Jennifer, Yaisa, Rachel and Julen and loving Partner to Janet.

Funeral Service at Maldon Fields Crematorium on Tuesday 15th September 2026, at 3.30pm.

I was so sorry to hear of Ray’s passing. My late father, Jeff Cooper, was a great friend of Ray’s and worked for him many years ago. I remember Dad once talking to me about friendships in life and saying, “Ray was my friend and Mike was my buddy.” For some reason those words always stayed with me.

I have fond memories of Ray myself too. He was always so easygoing and friendly, and I particularly remember him very kindly driving me to church in his Rolls-Royce on my wedding day. I’ve shared a photo from that day with Ray standing behind me.

Lovely memories. Sending my warmest thoughts to Jan and all Ray’s family.
