William JohnHEARDFormerly of Leigh Farm, Hartland passed away peacefully at Heron's Lea Residential Care Home on 18th November 2023, aged 91 years. Much loved husband of Mary, devoted father to Chris & Andy, much loved Grandad to Amy, Jack, Sam, Daniel and Frazer and Great Grandad to Flora, George, Ottilie and Romilly. He will be sadly missed by all. Funeral service will be held at St Nectan's Church, Stoke, Hartland on Saturday 2nd December 2023 at 12 noon. Family flowers only Donations, if desired for Friends of St Nectan's and Devon Air Ambulance may be given by retiring collection or sent c/o J L Fulford,105 West St, Hartland Devon EX39 6BQ

We are so very sad to read here of John's passing.
We wish to send our sympathy and love to all his family but particularly to those with whom we spent many happy summer holidays at Leigh Farm and Cuckoo Cottage, helping John,
Mary, Chris and Andy bring in the hay.
