George had a wonderful sense of humour. He always kept in touch with us in Canada about the important news regarding family, which was greatly appreciated. Good memories. Love to Jean and the family.

With love to Jean and family, and in memory of a wonderful friend, neighbour and fellow council and committee member who made Helen's and my lives in Tissington even more enjoyable with the knowledge he had gained from a lifetime of village memories and his rare sense of fun. We sadly miss our meetings and chats, and will always remember you with love and appreciation. God bless you, George, and rest in peace xxx
