I am deeply saddened by this notice, Louis was one of my dads best friends when he was in the police force. They loved bumping into each other in the paper shop in Crawcrook on a morning to have a chin wag.
There are very few proper gentleman like Louis in this world which makes this loss extra sad. I send my love to all of his family, i am sorry I missed his funeral as I would have loved to say a proper goodbye to him and thank him for being such a wonderful friend to us. X

Uncle Lou, I will forever treasure the memories from my childhood when you would come and visit and bring Lauren with you. One of life’s true gentlemen, you will never be forgotten.
