Born in South London, Roger and his wife Lesley moved to Godalming in 1970.
Roger was a science teacher who on retirement became involved in many aspects of local life, especially with vulnerable adults and gardening for older people.
He will be greatly missed by family, church and the wider community.
Everyone who knew him is invited to his Thanksgiving Service at Godalming Baptist Church on Friday 28th August at 2.30 pm, following natural woodland burial at Eashing Cemetery.
