ThelmaBUCKLEY(nee Popham) After bravely fighting illness for a number of years, Thelma Buckley aged 86 years, of Trealaw, passed away peacefully at Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda on Friday, Jan 2; beloved wife of the late Mervyn, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Janet and Rob, devoted grandmother to Christopher and Elli, Jenny and Adam and Sarah and Marc, loving sister, sister-in-law and Auntie, she will be greatly missed by her family, friends, neighbours and carers. The funeral cortege will leave the Heritage Park Hotel, Trehafod at 1.10pm for a service at Glyntaff Crematorium at 1.30pm on Thursday, Jan 15. Family flowers only by request, donations in lieu for Alzheimer's Research UK and the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society may be sent to Humphreys Funeral Home, 123 North Rd, Porth, CF39 9SL.
