The obituary notice of Annette CHERRY (nee Riley)

Our very best memory of Annette was the kindness shown to us the night before our wedding . The bridesmaid should have been our sister in law but unfortunately that wedding did not take place. We did not know if she would turn up to perform that task
Annette very kindly offered to step in if required. When Joan arrived at the church there was Annette waiting to see if she was needed. On seeing the bride (and bridesmaid) she gave a reassuring smile and nod and stepped back into the church. We were so very greatful to her to be there to offer the support. We would have been absolutely delighted had Annette had to step in.
Rest in peace dear cousin.

Annette was so welcoming when we moved to Barrow-on-Humber. Taking us under her wing, introducing us to many people, especially through the Church, which was so close to her heart.
We enjoyed many happy times together in her home and participating in Church and Village activities together such as Sunday Club outings to the Pantomime, and day trips to Scarborough.

Sad news. Annette and I were in the same class at Barrow C of E school.

Annette - we have lots of lovely memories of us being at your lovely bungalow. Feeshly baked cakes and pastries. Oliver playing with the girls and helping to wash Johns car. At least you got to see Maisie xx Love Martyn and Ann x

Such sad news. My lovely, dear, kind, gentle and funny Cousin Annette. So many happy memories of Annette from our childhood holidays in Barrow, and now reunited with John. Commiserations to all the family and RIP Annette, love Chris XX
