Steve was and remains a true gentleman. One of very few people I knew I could unreservedly trust from the minutes I first met him. The world is a poorer place without him but we are richer for his friendship. I’m sorry that I can’t be there physically to pay my respects but my thoughts and love are there for him and all his family and friends. Til we meet again Steve.

We often say that the hour of death cannot be forecast. When we say this we imagine this hour would be in a distant future. We never thought we would be thinking about Steve as a memory.

It came too soon and still feels unreal.

We all have different memories of Steve but one thing they all have in common is the way he loved and lived for his family.
He had the most inspiring love for his family. Every time he shared one of his family stories, his eyes would light up with the most amazing shine. A shine that could never be unnoticed.

Rest in peace dear friend xxx
