EVANS Gwladys

of Acton, Wrexham (formerly of Meirionydd) passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025 with family at her side at Maelor Hospital, aged 91 years. Loving wife of the late Gwynn, sister to the late Gwilym and Laura, a beloved cousin, aunt and great-aunt and a dear friend to many. Funeral on Thursday January 30. Private Burial service followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Capel-y-Groes, Wrexham at 2pm. Family flowers only please. I've been fortunate enough to Know Gwladys [and Gwynn] for thirty years since I first decorated their lovely home. Every moment spent in their company was so special as their kindness and gentle friendliness stood out so strongly for me. Since Gwynn's passing,I would often call by and would always,without fail, be met with a smile,a cup of tea and a slice of cake. Such a lovely,gentle soul, Gwladys made a positive impression on so many people. She'll be sorely missed.
