A really genuine bloke who was gentle, interested and interesting. Whenever he was at tennis or badminton, you knew you would get a good game, have a laugh and not be taken too seriously - great attributes Nigel x. So sad to realise that won't happen again. You'll not be forgotten x

I met nigel when he came as a volunteer to Choices and Rights. I was immediately drawn to his warm personality and dry sense of humour. He frequently spoke with pride about his son, Matthew and how important his Mum - Pam and step dad - Jim were in his life. He will be greatly missed by all of us at Choices and Rights

Nigel a true gentleman and close friend who will be sadly missed. I am still finding it hard to believe you are no longer here but the fun, laughter and memories we shared will never be forgotten. I will always remember the times we all use to wind each other up, and your quirky badminton shots not to mention our efforts to take up tennis – we did have many laughs. RIP Nige. Lorraine
