Linda EthelMOLLOY(NÉE WALKER) 02.03.1956 - 20.09.2016 Linda, much loved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend to many, passed away peacefully in Fairfield Hospital on 20th September. She suffered a stroke and never regained consciousness. She is finally free of the dementia that plagued her last few years. Up until her illness began in 2006, Linda was a well respected Teacher in several schools around Heywood and Rochdale. She touched the lives of all who met her in a very positive way and left a lasting legacy amongst the many hundreds of children who passed through her care during almost thirty years of Primary Teaching. She will be very sadly missed by those who were privileged to have known her. A Humanist Service will be held at Rochdale Crematorium at 1.00pm on Monday 10th October. Those who attend are invited to join us after the service for drinks and a hot/cold buffet at The Starkey Arms in Heywood. I would like to ask that rather than buying floral tributes, you consider a donation to Dementia UK (donation cheques only). A facility, for collection, will be available at the service, though this choice is entirely optional.
