Charles Edward (Charlie)SAMMONDSSAMMONDS - CHARLES EDWARD (CHARLIE), August 20, 2016. Peacefully aged 91 years. Now reunited with his beloved wife Betty and son Christopher. A much loved Dad, Grandad, Great Grandad, Great Great Grandad, Brother and Uncle, Charlie will be very sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family and all who knew him. Charlie (late of the Dingle) served with distinction in the service of the Royal Navy during the second World War. Funeral service will be held at St. Patrick's RC Church, Park Place, L8 on Monday September 5th 2016 at 2.30 pm followed by cremation at Springwood Crematorium (Rosemary Chapel) at 3.30 pm.
