Michael ArthurSCANLONSCANLON - MICHAEL ARTHUR ("ARTHUR"), April 9, 2020. Peacefully aged 97 years, at Stapley Nursing Home. Now reunited with his beloved wife Sadie. Much loved dad of Monica, Helen, Janet and Michael, a dear father in law and a very special grandad and great grandad to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Arthur will be very sadly missed by all his family and those that knew and loved him. The family wish to thank all the staff at Stapley Nursing Home for the wonderful care and attention Arthur received and for their words of comfort during this very sad time. Funeral service and cremation will be held at Springwood Crematorium on Tuesday April 21st 2020. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, only close members are able to attend. To Monica, Helen, Michael, Janet and families, we were very sad to hear about the death of Arthur, a wonderful man who will be sadly missed. To Monica, Helen, Michael, Janet and families, we are so sad to hear of dear Arthur's passing. We have such lovely memories of his visits with Sadie to Sligo every year. We loved and looked forward to those visits. He is now reunited with all in the last generation. May they all rest in peace together. We will be thinking of you all on the 21st.
