Kenneth RussellTHOMPSONOn the 8th April 2025 peacefully in Calderdale Royal Hospital aged 74 years (Huddersfield Barber for over fifty years). Dearly loved husband of Susan, of Lindley, devoted dad of Natalie and father-in-law to Danielle, a much loved grandad to Spencer and Mabel.

The cortege will leave McNulty Funeral Home, 25 New North Parade on Wednesday 7th May for service and cremation at Huddersfield Crematorium at 12.30pm. Relatives and friends please accept this intimation and meet at the crematorium.

Family flowers only please by request. Donations in lieu if so desired to Yorkshire Air Ambulance for which a donation box will be available at the crematorium.

Only heard the sad news today, first came across Ken when he was on Leeds Rd with John Cotton, and he cut me hair ever since, had so many laughs putting the world to rights.

I have known Ken since the 80’s, he always had a joke to tell and we had a good laugh. We discussed holidays and the world in general, never short of a good tale, a top guy, excellent hairdresser and great friend. RIP Ken.
