Jonathan CharlesWESTONOn the 23rd December 2021 aged 81 years. Greatly loved Son of the late Charles and Catherine, Stepson of the late Anne, Brother of Victoria, Brother in law, Uncle, Great Uncle, Cousin and friend. Jonathan's early years were spent in Yeldersley and Ashbourne before moving to Derby in the mid 1960's following a road accident in 1962, which left Jonathan with many disabilities, he achieved so much more in his life that was ever thought possible. He bore his disabilities with characteristic good humour and fortitude. The family would like to thank the staff of Greenwich Gardens for their kind, compassionate and professional care during Jonathan's eight, very happy, years there. Thanks are also due to the Royal Derby Hospital and Ward 410 for their outstanding care, following the stroke which Jonathan suffered in October; and the Park where he spent the last two weeks of his life. Funeral service at Bradley Church on Monday 17th January 2022 at 12.00 noon prior to Cremation at Markeaton Crematorium (Round Chapel).
