It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of Linda Margaret Anderson.

Linda died on Friday 12th June 2026 peacefully at University Hospital Coventry surrounded by her family, aged 78 years.

"Linda will be deeply missed by the many friends and family who held her dear. Though she is no longer with us, her warmth and spirit will live on forever in our hearts."

A service to celebrate her life will take place on Friday 17th July 2026 at Rainsbrook Crematorium, Drayton Chapel, at 1:30 PM.

Please wear colourful clothing to celebrate Linda's joyful life.

Family flowers only, please.
If desired, donations in Linda's memory to Cancer Research UK may be given on the day.

Linda was one of the”girls”.We all met at the College of Sarum St Michael in Salisbury I did not know her well at College - we lived in different places and were in different groups. Over the years we have met up mostly in London for a lot of talk and food!!! She always talked about her family and was proud of them all. Her passing has been a big shock. - it was so quick - perhaps a blessing??

Big sister, Linda, you will be sorely missed. Thanks for helping me to read, to encourage me and terrifying me by locking me in the shed and telling me ghost stories, when I was four! We will miss your humour, love and friendship. It has been great that FaceTime has allowed us to keep in close contact every week over the pond, something that we will miss greatly. Joan and I will keep you in our memories forever.

Linda had a huge heart and a caring smile. I'd known and worked along side her in our voluntary roles for 12 years and I valued our friendship greatly. I will miss her laughter and cheeky banter. Nothing was too much trouble, if she could help someone she would. Linda will be greatly missed by so many and certainly by me. Fly high Linda, you were a very special lady.
