David RichardBARRETT-JAMESOf Barton St David, formerly of Somerton, Somerset, passed peacefully away on 19th March 2025 aged 66 years.
A much loved husband, father, brother, son and friend who will be sadly missed.

Funeral Service at Yeovil Crematorium on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025 at 12:40pm.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired may be made online via this notice in the donation box below or cheques made payable to name of St Margaret’s Hospice may be forwarded to Forsey and Son Funeral Directors,
Willowfields, Lowerside Lane, Glastonbury, BA6 9GY.

Very sorry to hear the sad news. My condolences to his wife and family. I knew David for decades. He was thoughtful, caring and made time to listen to people. He was an under-spoken innovative leader in Clinical Pathology and medical science. Our professional paths frequently crossed and developed into a friendship founded on respect. I'll miss your sense of humour and honest opinions. You will be sorely missed! RIP, David.

So sad to hear ,David was a pioneer in nutritional support for patients and helped set up the first nutrition team in Somerset.
