VeraBATCHELORPassed away peacefully on 28th June 2026. Beloved and adored wife, friend and soulmate of the late Les. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral service to be held at St Paul's Chapel, Exeter Crematorium on Monday 13th July at 11.00am. No flowers please. Donations to Hospiscare or Macmillan Cancer Care may be given at the service.

Fond memories of my friend Vera as we shared good times and some more challenging times together with laughter and a few tears along the way. Comforted in the knowledge that her faith means she is reunited with her beloved Les. Much love to Michael and family. Ruth

Remembering the wonderful Vera ahead of her funeral tomorrow. She was a fierce, strong-willed woman with a beautiful heart for animals and children.
To our family, she was a dear friend and a beloved 'Auntie Vera' to our daughter Mary.
Vera instilled the value of kindness and politeness in Mary, playing such a special part in helping her grow into the confident 12-year-old young lady she is today.
We choose to remember her here at Sidmouth—her absolute favourite place. Reunited now with her husband and old fishing buddy Colin.
Our thoughts are with all of her family, especially her brother Michael, at this incredibly sad time.
Rest in peace, Vera, you left a lasting mark on our hearts.
