Neil was our manager for over nine years, he was a great boss (once we trained him!) A fantastic teller of library tales (he had been in libraries for a lonnnng time!), had a wicked sense of humour, and a love of shopping…… not library related!
He was a kind and lovely man, and we shared many laughs together. Our thoughts are with Chris and the family.
With heartfelt condolences, Jackie and Lisa

The good ones always go too soon, and Neil was definitely a good one.
He was in our lives for 37 years, and was always there for us.
We will miss his kind, generous and caring nature and his sense of humour, which was always on point.
He was a talented musician with a compassionate, loyal and sensitive soul. Our love and condolences go out to his partner Chris and all those who loved and will miss him. Rest in Peace, Neil.
