TejinderBHACHUTJ It is with deepest sadness the family at Hardwick Stores & Post Office announce the untimely, completely sudden death of TJ Tejinder Bhachu, aged 54 on the morning of 15th July 2021. Tejinder leaves his loving wife Emma whom he adored, his three children Gulvinder, Tara and Taran, his mother Maya and sisters Pam and Mandip. TJ became the Postmaster in 1989 when he together with John & Maya took over the post office and store. Over the years TJ has been a pivotal and integral member of village life, providing whatever help and support he could. During covid he was determined that the villagers would have access to supplies, and travelled each day to make the necessary purchases. TJ was a valued member of the Hardwick community, he was keen to be of service hence he served as a parish councillor. TJ was friendly able to put people at ease, sensible, calm with a quiet sense of balance and humour, always helpful, a true gentleman. The family are utterly devastated he will be truly missed by all. Funeral service to be held at Cambridge Crematorium, West Chapel on Monday 9th August at 11am.

I worked at the village store as a teenager in the 90s and have such fond memories of Tejinder. He was honestly one of the nicest men I think I've ever had the pleasure of knowing and I'm truly devastated by this news. Sending much love to his family.
