Finley JohnBROWNIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Finley, who left us peacefully surrounded by those who loved him.
Finley was the strongest little fighter, born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.
From the very beginning, he faced challenges that no little one should ever have to endure, undergoing many surgeries and fighting bravely through every step.
For seven precious months, we were blessed to love you, care for you, and watch you grow. You showed us a strength and courage beyond words, and you touched the hearts of everyone who knew you.
Sadly, after fighting so hard for so long, Finley became tired. His little body had fought enough, and he was ready to rest and spread his beautiful wings.
Fly high, my precious boy. You will forever be loved, forever remembered, and forever a part of me.
Finley will be deeply missed by family, friends, and everyone whose life was touched by his kindness, warmth, and unforgettable presence. The memories we shared will remain in our hearts forever.
A service to celebrate Finley's life will be held at Bretby Crematorium's Cedar Service Room on Friday 11th September 2026 at 13:30pm.

Donations in Finley's memory will be sent to Heart Link Childrens Charity, who provide support to children with congenital heart defects and their families in the East Midlands.
