BarryCRANEIt is with huge sadness that we announce that Barry sadly passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones on Friday 21st March 2025, aged 75 years.

Devoted and loving Dad to Nickey and Gemma, Father-in-Law to Carne and Paul. Adored Grampy/Grandad to Kealeigh, Alex, Maiya, Esmee and Isla. Great Grandad to Aria.

Our hearts are broken Dad, you may be gone from our presence but you remain always in our hearts and our thoughts. You will be deeply missed by all those that knew you and loved you.

We are having a Celebration of his life, as Dad did love a party! At Coventry Welsh Rugby Club, 82 Burbages Lane, Coventry CV6 6AY on Friday 11th April from 6:00pm onwards. Please drop in and raise a glass or two for Dad.

We are not having flowers but would ask people to make a donation on behalf of Barry to the Dementia UK if they desire.

Barry, not only our dear friend but a huge part of our family. The joy and laughter you brought with your never-ending stories will stay with us forever. The love and guidance you gave, the holiday memories we shared—these will never be forgotten but forever cherished.

Though you’ve now flown to the skies, you’ll always remain in our hearts. Not a day will pass without us thinking of you, smiling at the memories you left us with. Be good up there—keep telling your jokes, sharing your stories, and catching those fish to your heart’s content.

Cheers, Barry—we raise a glass to you and thank you for being such a special part of our lives. We’ll miss you so much.

With love,
Stacey, Steph, Livi & Jamie xx

My best mate, my best man and my drinking partner, things we have done together I dare not say but we had great times . Lynne and I shared many fun family times with Barry and family and made memories to be cherished. Even in his dementia years we managed to share a laugh. His sense of humour stayed with him. Missing you already.Lynne & John (Tarb)

Condolences to Barry's family and friends. Barry was a great bloke and a fabulous story teller. I had plenty of laughs with him at bbrfc on a Sunday lunchtime, one end of the bar would be occupied by Barry and his family and his friends. He will be propping up the heavenly bar with all those who have also sadly passed. That bar will not know what's hit them. R.i.p Barry. Sue Calcott 🙏

We may have been an Ocean apart and did not see you often but when we did get to spend time with you every minute was memorable. Your stories and experiences are still spoken amongst our family today. We named a Motorhome (Motor caravan) we purchased after you Barry. Our Barry was from 1973, very big, very colorful and made everyone smile when they would see it. It was a conversation piece that people remembered. As Barry would drive on many adventures, so did our Motor caravan. bringing our family happiness and laughter. Your memory will remain strong Barry. Love Always Mark, Kendra, Cameron and Cody.
