David MartynDAVIESMartyn peacefully passed away on 28th August 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Marilyn,
devoted Dad of James, Aled and Owain,
dearly loved father-in-law to Zoe,
proud gramps to Ianto,
and dear brother to Huw.

Martyn will be greatly missed by his family and many friends who knew and loved him.

The funeral will be held at All Saints Church, Oystermouth
on Wednesday 16th September at 1.30pm,
followed by committal at Swansea Crematorium at 3.00pm.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired may be made via this notice to
Neuroendocrine Cancer UK

A very bright light has gone out.
Martyn will be greatly missed by so many of those of us who remain.
We will endeavour to follow his great example of a smile and a chat with everyone he encountered and for making us feel so welcome when we moved here.

My deepest condolences following Martyn’s passing. One of life’s great characters and will be greatly missed. His all year round swimming down Langland Bay will always remain an inspiration!

A delightful man - would always stop to chat either heading for his swim or on the way back home.
The RotherBobbers will miss him and his warmth.

Lots of lovely memories of Martyn, a lovely, caring person who showed interest in everyone. His clever, dry sense of humour could light up the room and we will miss him.
