WalterDYEWith sadness the family would like to announce the passing of Walter Dye.
Loving father to Anne, Teresa, Sandra, Tracy, Gaynor and Steven. Also a beloved Grandfather and Great Grandfather to Many More.

Walter was a well known man across Coventry and was proud Maintenance Manager at Standard Triumph, and in his retirement he also worked across the Midlands on the local markets.

Walter’s family would like to welcome all those who wish to attend to celebrate his life at Cannon Hill Chapel, Canley Crematorium at 9am on Saturday 22nd March.

We ask all those who attend, for men to come in traditional black tie with women in black dress with a splash of colour.

Flowers welcome from all, and if you would like to make a donation in Walter’s name, we ask that it is made to the British Heart Foundation either through their website or online at www.franklinfunerals.co.uk

The news that Walter has passed on has been shocking to hear. I met Walter in the gym and he was a kind and caring soul to me and to everyone he met. It was a priveledge to be his friend. He will be forever missed and he will always remain in my heart.

We had some fun together at Canley, and then when we attended Tile Hill College for the IMI course.

My Amazing Dad, He was not just an incredible father but also my best friend and the heart of our family. His strength, love, and unwavering support shaped who I am today, and I’ll forever be grateful for everything he did for us.

He lived his life with integrity, kindness, and devotion to those he loved, and though I’m deeply saddened, I take comfort in knowing his legacy lives on through the many lives he touched. Love you and miss you Dad

I had the absolute pleasure of calling you my father-in-law. From day one I have said “you’re the father everyone wished they had in their life”. Your stories, support, love, you’re brilliant sense of humour that would always have me chuckling away, you really were a 1 in a million kind of man and I’m forever grateful that I got to know you, we will make sure you live on in your grandchildren and share all your stories with them as they grow older. May you rest in peace Walter ❤️
