David was my history lecturer between 1989-1993 at Marjon. He was always smiling! I’m so very sad to read today of his passing. Sending condolences to his wife and family. RIP Sir 😢

I will never forget you Dave. I would arrive at your office at the time designated & you would be making a cup of green tea with a slice of lemon in it & schooling me on Erasmus with books piled high up one on top of the other. You were a giant of socialism. You were kind to everyone. You live on in our collective memory now & we cherish you. Where ever we go when we are no longer here you Sir are resting amongst the other giants of History.
