DoreenGOODMAN(née Wass) (Of Darley Abbey) Beloved widow of Stewart. Much-loved mum to Simon and Louise. Treasured partner to Morgan. Mother-in-law to Jayne and Steve, and dearly missed grandma to Thomas, Fenella, Madeleine and Jemima. Proud great-grandma to Edward and Lilah.

A life well lived. A true friend to many, a kind neighbour, and a steady source of love and support. Doreen was deeply loved and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She passed away peacefully on 15th March 2025, aged 89 years, with her family by her side and able to say goodbye. Forever in our hearts - always remembered, deeply missed, and lovingly held in memory.

A celebration of Doreen's life will take place at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston-on-Trent, on Thursday 17th April 2025 at 3.30pm and afterwards at the Coopers Arms Weston-on-Trent

Family flowers only, please. Donations in Doreen's memory may be made to British Heart Foundation and will be gratefully received.

All are warmly welcome to join us to share memories and say farewell.

Very sad to read this notice today. We grew up living next door to Mrs Goodman and her family. We remember her 2 dogs "Sooty and Sweep". She taught us to drive. She was a lovely lady.
