DarrenGREENPassed away peacefully at LOROS Hospice on Friday 13th June 2025, aged 59 years.
Adored and loving husband of Sue, wonderful dad and father-in-law to Chloe, Sam and Becky, amazing 'Grandaz' to Daphne. Sadly missed by his family and friends. Daz leaves a gap that can never be filled.

Funeral service to be held at Trent Valley Crematorium, Stanhope Chapel on Wednesday 16th July 2025 at 10.30am. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired are invited for LOROS Hospice, these can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or may be given at the service.

I was so sorry and shocked to hear the news of Darren’s passing. We spent many Saturday mornings watching our sons play football after we were both “volunteered” to run their team. He was a lovely person, very easy to chat to, obviously dedicated to his family. Subsequently, I occasionally bumped into him and he was just the same.

Sincere sympathies to his family & friends. He was a great guy and will be greatly missed.

Thinking of you all at this very sad time. We will remember Darren at the cricket matches where we watched our men and boys play. Darren had a wonderful sense of humour and was such a gentleman. R.I.P Darren

My sincere condolences to Darren's family and friends.
I joined RR with Darren and knew him throughout his time at Royces. It was a terrible shock to hear of his passing.

I worked for Darren for several years in Materials and he was one of the kindest and most supportive managers and he always had a smile and words of encouragement whenever I saw him around the office. So sad to hear he is no longer with us. My thoughts are with his family.
