Shirley DoreenGUERINSadly Shirley passed away in the UHW on the 25th of September 2025, aged 91.

She will be greatly missed by her husband Joseph and the rest of her immediate family, Jayne, Mark, Judith and Catherine, her grand-children Alena, Lloyd, Declan and Edward, her great grandchildren Finnley, Ronnie and Talia and all those who knew her.

The funeral service will take place at St Alban's Church in Splott on Thursday 30th of October 2025 at 11.00am followed by a short service in the Wenallt Chapel, Thornhill at 12.30pm.

Family flowers only; by request; Donations can be made to Alzheimer's Research Uk at www.greenwillowfunerals.com.

I have such fond memories of Aunty Shirley — always warm, thoughtful, and full of quiet grace. I’ll never forget how she’d ring once to let us know she was on her way over for coffee at Nanas and then let me have the best biscuit. Or how she cut my 18th birthday cake with a caterer’s precision and such care. Those small moments captured exactly who she was — kind, meticulous, and full of love.

Aunty Shirley was a wonderful woman who brought warmth, laughter, and kindness wherever she went. She’ll be deeply missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know her.

Sending all my love and heartfelt condolences to the family — may the many happy memories bring you comfort in the days ahead.
