Our beautiful mam, passed away peacefully, on Saturday 14th June 2025, aged 69 years after a long, brave battle.

Dearly loved mam of Sue, Denise and Bailey. Beloved mother in law of David and Brian. Treasured Nanna of George, Isla, Olivia and Ashton. Faithful sister of Alan and the late Glenda and Aunty of Brian and the late Paul. Precious daughter of the late George and Doris. Eternal friend of Sue, Val, Eileen, Josie, June, Audrey and Steve and so many others. It's not goodbye-it's see you later, forever in our hearts, we love you.

Would all please meet for funeral service at West Road Crematorium on Tuesday 1st July at 11.45am. Afterwards all welcome at The Benwell Hill Cricket Club.

Floral tributes welcome or donations gratefully received on behalf of the PDSA a collection box will be available following the service.

My heart goes out to Denise and Sue and all the family, I’m so sorry for the loss of your beautiful mam Karen, she was a lovely lady who i had the pleasure to meet while growing up, she was always kind and caring and always cooked tea, she always made me welcome when we had sleep overs. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.Rip Karen xx

For 48 years we’ve shared the ups and downs the fun and laughter having children then grandchildren, this last year you fought so hard with courage and determination as always thinking of others first you never complained, I will love you always and miss you forever one day we will meet again love sue teddy and Harvey.

My precious, beautiful mam, I will never forget you, you were my everything and more. I would like to thank you for my wonderful upbringing, I have always felt loved, special and guided because of you. You never complained, you were an inspiration to us all, kind, unselfish ,intelligent and loved by so many. You will live on in my precious memories and through your wonderful, family and friends. R.I.P Karen, you were a lovely kind hearted selfless lady who would do anything for anyone with a heart of gold,
