I first met Len in 2011, when his daughter (my wife) Amanda, introduced me to the family. He welcomed me with open arms to the family. What I loved about him was he was an absolute gentleman, very easy going and interesting to talk to.

My favourite memory is when we stayed the night and he spent all evening telling stories of his army days which was fascinating. He even told us about driving onto a taxing Hercules, not many people get to do that!

It was an absolute privilege having Len as my father in law and I will always remember him fondly.

As with everyone in Lens family and friends, I will miss him terribly. I only hope that I made him proud.

RIP Sir 🫡
