Alan PhilipHEASONAs some will already know, Alan Heason passed away peacefully at home recently, aged 88, with his wife and two sons by his side. Alan lived a long and remarkable life, filled with adventure, creativity and curiosity. A climber, photographer, writer, musician and artist, he spent many of his happiest days in the mountains and was never short of a story from a lifetime of adventures in North Wales and around the world. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
We have chosen to hold a private family funeral. However, later this summer we will be holding a memorial gathering at the house for anyone who would like to come together to remember Alan, share stories and celebrate his life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Wales Mountain Rescue Association, a cause that was very close to his heart, through the funeral directors
