Eileen was the first head l served under , but 30 years later she was a friend. She never forgot an anniversary or birthday- and became extended family, who l visited when l returned to Nottingham. Eileen was a special lady who touched many children’s lives as a teacher, headmistress and through charities she supported.

Eileen wasn't just a head teacher I worked under, but someone who cared for the children in her school, shepherded staff who needed advice, support or a helping hand, and became a very dear friend who wi much missed. She was 'Auntie Eileen' to our daughter from the day she was born..... And as a family we already miss her very much.
