Passed away peacefully in hospital on 12th August 2026 aged 75 Years.

Mick, Devoted and loving husband of Florence. Treasured and amazing Dad of Michael and Christine. Proud and Cherished Grandad of Murray, Jonathan and Joseph. Dear Brother of Jimmy, Margaret, Pearl and Eva.

He was kind, Caring, Funny and always there for people he loved. His warmth, laughter and sense of humour brought so much happiness to those around him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Please meet for funeral service at Tynemouth Crematorium Chapel on Monday 24th August 2026 at 10:30am.

Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired to the Limbless Association.

Mick you were a true gentleman and an inspiration to us all.
You brought so much laughter and joy into our lives. With your incredible sense of humour, your jokes will always leave us with a smile.
Family time with you was truly magical leaving us all with beautiful memories that we will cherish forever.

It has been a an absolute privilege and honour to have known Mick as a friend and then relation over many years and to have shared many moments of happiness and humour throughout this time. Mick certainly had what can only be described as a dry and quircky sense of humour which touched us all. He will be remembered with all our love and affection. Jim and Sheila xxx
