I worked with Tim on a number of occasions, a man that I had the utmost respect for, as a genuinely lovey person and the consummate professional.

Tim once broadcast his radio show from a classroom in my school in 1979. I was 15 years old at the time and that was the day Tim inspired me to want to work in radio. I had no idea then that I would go on to have the privilege of working with Tim over many years. Tim - a true pioneer of radio with boundless enthusiasm, sense of fun, friendship and an inspiration for every radio person who learned their craft from you. Thinking of Anne Marie and the family at this sad time.

Totally numb that I have lost one of my best friends, begun my career with the guidance from Tim, worked, travelled, ate, drank and above all laughed together for over 45 years! My thoughts are with Anne-Marie who has lost her soulmate, Michael and Paul and families. Love and sympathies from my parents June and Bill and sister Jayne. Tim you leave a big hole in so many lives, you will be missed greatly.
