Peacefully at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, and of 1 Bro Eglwys, Bethel, Caernarfon, aged 65 years.

Beloved father of Ellen and Robert, Taidi to Bethany, Amelia, Joshua and Layla, dear brother of Eirian and father-in-law to Tim and a special friend to Carol.

Public funeral service at Bangor Crematorium, Llandegai Road, Bangor LL57 2HP on Tuesday, February 18 at 1:30pm.

Family flowers only, but if desired donations gratefully accepted towards Cybi Ward, Ysbyty Gwynedd.

Dear Cerwyn. May your soul rest in peace. You and I were good friends for over twelve years. Thank you for giving golden memories to me. I will never forget you. Dear Carol, I hope time will ease the sorrow of your loss. I am sorry I forgot names of four caregivers who I met when I visited Wales. Please write their names to me by e-mail, if possible.

Dear my friend,

I heard about your passing from my friend Markus in Germany. It was heartbreaking and sad news. I never imagined my separation from you would come so soon.
I already know that you will not read this message. However, I really wanted to tell you!

We met in the unique world of model guns. And you have praised our work, and you have generously helped me so far. You had a handicap, but I have never met such a strong and kind man!
That's why you were admired by so many people. And you gave me a very good friend in Markus. Markus is always there to help me. Thank you very much!

We have never met. A promise to meet in Cancun, Mexico was also not fulfilled. But I won't forget you! And there's one other regret. We couldn't show you our MP40…..
We are committed to making the best MP40 ever. Please watch over us in heaven.

We will continue to make unremitting efforts in the future.

Thank you very much always for your kind cooperation! I will never forget you!

Many happy hours spent during trips to Southport Spinal Unit ignited a friendship outside of work and since retirement.
Lots of humour, serious discussion and life experiences shared. After 25 years, I will miss the visits to Bethel but will keep my memories of a very special friend.
RIP my friend.

Dear Carol!

With a heavy heart I have to say good bye to Cerwyn. I still cannot find the proper words to make it easier for you, or even myself. He was such a friendly and helpful friend, full of love, knowledge, understanding, humor and wisdom. I am so sad that I was not able to meet him again after our visit in Wales more than 10 years ago.

We will never forget him.
