I first met Elaine during the pandemic when we were both walking on the golf course, she of course with her beloved Truff. She was a joy to know - kind, thoughtful, insightful and unassuming. She was also very proud of her sons, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I don’t think she ever understood how much she was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. I’ll miss our chats and tours round her garden, and seeing her striding out with Truff.

Elaine, such a calm, kind and wise lady. We met because our little dogs Coco and Truffle used to say hello to each other on Caswell Drive. From this, I was lucky enough to get to know you and to have admired your beautiful hellebores in the garden. Coco misses you and still goes to your door. You will be missed Elaine x thank you for being you x God bless x

I met Elaine and her forever faithful dog who were joined at the hip when I picked them up in my taxi and drove them down to the village. Whenever I took them home, I would always end up being ages because she was proud as punch showing me all her flowers in the garden. I couldve spent hours with her however I had to get back to work. I am so glad to have met you Elaine and have no doubt in my mind that you are back walking your beloved dog up in the sky. Until we meet again Elaine.
Love sent to all the family.
