Remembering Paul a very dear friend. X

A man of hidden depths and talents. Not only a great director, Paul brought great fun to the stage with the characters he played. Father bear in full furry suit, a twinkle toes ballerina in tutu and string vest and who could forget his Elvis in a white suit, so tight his voice raised to a pitch that only dogs could hear! No luxury of sitting down during that show! However, throughout our many Panto years, Paul remained kind, patient and good humoured. He will be greatly missed by us all.

Through a shared love of amateur dramatics, I’ve known Paul for many years. We’ve shared a stage, countless laughs and many wonderful memories.

For ten years, it has been my privilege to work alongside Paul as he directed our village pantomime. A more generous, kind and patient man you could not wish to meet.

My dear friend, keep treading the boards. You have been and always will be, my King of the spreadsheet.
