ParkerLINDSEYWe sadly announce Parker passed away on 8th May at Scunthorpe General Hospital, aged 82 years. Devoted husband of the late Janet, special dad to Helen & Elizabeth and good friend to many.

A service to celebrate and remember Parker will take place on Monday 9th June 2025 1:20pm Woodlands Crematorium.

Family flowers only please, donations will be gratefully received to benefit Alzheimer's Society.

Jim and I met Parker through the North Lincs Stroke Group meetings at The George in Barton and Gill's Tearoom in Scunthorpe. He was a great guy and had lots of interesting tales about being a former football referee and life in general. He will be very much missed at our monthly gatherings.

I knew Parker for a short time through the stroke visits to Gills and The George Inn. Lovely man and I loved hearing about his family-his life and his involvement with his choir. A few times he has let me listen to the group singing at different engagements-just wonderful.
