I have known Sylvie all of my 83 years and spent many happy holidays with Sylvie, Maurice and family in Sheerness. Michael
Sylvie was very family orientated and was always interested in what the family were doing, especially the younger members. She came to all special family occasions - weddings, christenings etc. as well as any family `get togethers`. Sylvie will be greatly missed by us all. RIP

Sylvia, I only knew you for short time during lockdown. Met you via Jo Kinsey, you were kind enough to give us a job cleaning at the wonderful church at Frenchay. I loved the church & its beautiful stain glass & its peaceful nature in evenings. I was so inspired at your funeral to learn so much more about your life & how much you gave to others. Thank you for allowing me into your life, may you be at peace x

Sylvia, was an inspirational lady who was passionate about women’s right around the world and took positive action to try and ensure them. It was a privilege to know her and especially to be able to call her a friend. Her passing feels like the end of an era.
