Former Royal Artillery and Long-standing member of Newport Symphony Orchestra

Loved Father-in-Law of Dana and Rob
Cherished Papa of Annalise, Imogen, Austin, Amelia, Ayrton, and Connor

Resting in the private Chapel of
Michael G Ryan Son and Daughters Ltd,
106-108 Malpas Road, City of Newport
Until Funeral Tuesday 22nd April 2025
Service at St John’s Church, Maindee 12pm
Prior to interment at Usk Castle Chase Natural Burial Meadow 1:30pm
Immediate family flowers only please however
Donations would be appreciated for the Royal British Legion
and St David’s Hospice Care, can be made here

Derrick was my deskie at CNSO for 7 years.He was always so very kind & encouraging to me...but we also had plenty of laughs.Derrick was such a lovely person & the way he tackled his illness was inspiring.You have left a massive hole in many peoples lives Derrick.Keep bowing...my friend.
